MU Extension "Farm Page of the Air" radio program (Session 170 of 261)
When: Saturday, June 29, 2013, 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Radio station KWTO
This radio program is intended to educate viewers on a wide range of topics related to gardening in the Ozarks. Morris Westfall conducts the interview with Patrick Byers, MU Extension-Greene County regional horticulture specialist. The program airs several times on Saturday and Sunday on radio stations KWTO, KTXR, and KBFL.
A Home of Your Own!
When: Saturday, June 29, 2013, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This workshop will consist of six sessions designed for first time homeowners. The sessions include: Make Your Money Count!, Home Gardening, Homeowners Insurance, Credit Basics, Protecting Your Family and Home Maintenance. These workshops will meet sweat equity requirements for Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity, Joplin Area Fuller Center for Housing, Rebuild Joplin and similar program participants.
The workshop will consist of six sessions: Make Your Money Count!, Home Gardening, Homeowners Insurance, Credit Basics, Protecting Your Family and Home Maintenance.
