Johnson County Livestock Activities (Session 10 of 30)
When: Sunday, June 2, 2013, 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Holden Animal Clinic
Johnson County large animal livestock shows (beef, sheep, swine, dairy, lead line, goat, horse, auction, carcass contest,jackpot show); weigh-ins for beef, sheep, goats, and swine; and committee meetings. Also includes the small animal committee meetings and small animal shows (rabbit, poultry, dog, cat, buck calf).
To participate in the livestock shows 4-H and FFA members must complete pre-registration form by July 1 for the Johnson County fair.
Area 4-H Camping program (Session 3 of 4)
When: Sunday, June 2, 2013, 2 p.m. to Saturday, June 8, 2013, 11 a.m.
Camping through 4-H has been proven to be a substantial and effective youth development experience for youth aged 8-14. Two camp sessions are offered based upon the age of the child. more...

PC Fair Swine Spring Rate of Gain Weigh-In
When: Sunday, June 2, 2013, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Putnam County Fairgrounds
Hwy 5 North
Putnam County Fair Rate of Gain Contest for Swine. Pigs are brought in and weighed in the spring and weighed again at the fair and a daily average weight will be figured. There are awards for the top gaining animal.
