Where:
4747 Troost Ave., Kansas City MO
map...Description:
Are you tired of apologizing for the use of PowerPoint in your presentations? Do you feel like it’s time to communicate your ideas in a fresh way? Prezi is the new canvas-based, zoom, fly and flow presentation environment that’s gaining popularity as an alternative to PowerPoint and Apple’s Keynote.
But Prezi is such a different presentation paradigm that many people struggle with the learning curve and the best way to use the unique features in the best way. In this workshop, we’ll discuss Prezi best practices (with lots of examples) as well as common Prezi mistakes (who thought you could get sea sick from watching a presentation?).
Learn about the different versions (cloud-based, desktop and tablet) and subscription models (Free or a little or a lot) as well as the tools used in creating an effective presentation. By the time you exit this workshop, you’ll know how to zoom and rotate, layer elements, use the transformation tool, insert audio and video and even multi-user, real-time editing of your Prezi.
Get out of your PowerPoint rut and step up your presentation game with Prezi!
This workshop will be taught by Doug Allen, President of Allen’s Consulting. Lunch will be provided.
