This course is designed for business owners, managers, accountants, bankers, and consultants who need to know how to turn financial statements into useful management tools. At the end of this learning experience, you will be able to: identify key business information on income statements and balance sheets, know what key ratios indicate, why to use them and how they are calculated, and make better decisions for your business based on sound financial understanding.

The series focuses on nutrition, the cornerstone of diabetes management, but also reviews other self-management strategies that can help individuals avoid diabetes complications. The St. Charles County 4-H Council meets five times each year on the last Wednesday in January, March, May, August, and October. The Council sets policy for the 4-H program and oversees the Council budget and expenditures of the Council. The 4-H Specialist helps to prepare Council meeting agendas in consultation with the 4-H Council President and provides information to the Council to help them conduct 4-H business.
