Webster County Master Gardeners Plant Sale

When:  Saturday, May 13, 2017, 8 a.m. to noon

Webster County Extension Center parking lot

Description:

A large variety of plants, mostly provided by Master Gardeners from their own gardens, will be for sale. Proceeds from this plant sale help Master Gardeners fund community beautification projects and continue the group’s mission of providing unbiased, research-based landscaping and gardening education to the public. People are advised to arrive early if they want the best choices of hostas, flowers, ferns, ornamental grasses, trees, potted plants, and more. Concessions provided by Webster County 4-H.

Regional 4-H & FFA Show Stock Clinic-Sheep and Goats

When:  Saturday, May 13, 2017, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Description:

Missouri 4-H is about young people discovering their interests with the guidance of caring adults. It's about young people making friends and memories in clubs or other groups while honing their knowledge, skills, attitudes and health to lead in a complex and changing world. The 4-H & FFA Show Stock Clinic offers youth the opportunity to apply life skills learned about livestock nutrition and management in a competition setting.
