This advanced program is for participants who have completed the basic STay Strong, Stay Healthy program. This program focuses on advanced strength training for persons 60 years and older.

Modified Stay Strong, Stay Healthy is 12 classes over 6 weeks strength training program for adults 60 years and older who use a walker or wheelchair. The program’s goal is to improve health and quality of life. The program incorporates warm-up exercises, strengthening exercises, and cool down stretches. Over the six weeks participants learn exercises to improve strength. The class meets twice weekly and all equipment is provided.
