Gardening Class Series (Webster County) (Session 4 of 6)

This class series is for both beginning and experienced gardening enthusiasts wanting to learn and share information, problems and solutions with other growers. Participants can sign up for one, multiple or all sessions based on their interests. Each session will include both classroom and field experiences. Session #4 will cover growing flowers and ornamentals, including what annuals and perennials grow best in the Ozarks and how to care for them.

The fee for each two-hour class is $10 per person per session, $15 per couple per session, or all six sessions for $50 (the best deal). Pre-registration and payment is required one week in advance of the first session attended, to assure adequate resource materials are available.

Pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law: Notice is given that the Greene County Extension Council will conduct an open meeting on this day for the purpose of conducting the business of the Greene County Extension Council. Lunch is available for purchase at the meeting for $5. Our guest speaker this month will be Horticulture Educator Kelly McGowan who will discuss her research at the Southwest MU Research Center on elderberry flowers.
