2013 Master Gardeners of Greene County Plant Sale

Beginning at 7:30 a.m. rain or shine, the annual Master Gardeners of Greene County plant sale attracts thousands of area gardeners. Most plants are priced from $2 to $5, and some extraordinary specimens are $20.
In addition to perennials and vegetables, the inventory includes house plants, herbs, bulbs, grasses, vines, ground covers, shrubs and trees, potted up and donated from Master Gardener gardens.

Linn County Contest Day

This day is when 4-H members give demonstrations, speeches, set up a table setting displays and much more. Winners in the demonstration, public speaking and fashion review categories may also advance to state 4-H competitions. Clover Kids may participate in all areas but will not be chosen to attend state events.

This radio program is intended to educate viewers on a wide range of topics related to gardening in the Ozarks. Morris Westfall conducts the interview with Patrick Byers, MU Extension-Greene County regional horticulture specialist. The program airs several times on Saturday and Sunday on radio stations KWTO, KTXR, and KBFL.
