Class meets every Monday evening for 11 weeks. Provides in depth horticulture training for Missourians who wish to spread their knowledge of gardening. Prepares volunteers for horticulture questions frequently asked by citizens around the state, based on unbiased research based gardening information.
Session topic:
Insects – You’ve been successful at growing your garden and then all the sudden the garden is over run with insects. Now what? Is it a “bad” bug or a “good bug”? Learn about the different insects that infest the garden as well as how to protect your garden plants from these insects with different control methods.
Registration:
Registration fee includes all materials. Within 1 year after completion of the course and 30 hours as a volunteer to the community, a $50 reimbursement can be received. For additional information, call 636-797-5391 or kellyd@missouri.edu.
