Regional Management Intensive Grazing School

This 2 day course will educate producers in the science of grazing management and qualify participants for the state DSP3 cost-share program.
The school will address Evaluating Farm Resources and Soils, Economics of Grazing Management, Grazing Management, Forage Quality, Fencing and Water Systems, Livestock Nutrition, Feeding Strategies, Layout and Design of Grazing Systems, and Grazing

Advanced Stay Strong, Stay Healthy, St. Peters (Session 10 of 10)
When: Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Builds on the fitness base acquired through the basic Stay Stong, Stay Health program by adding new, more conplex upper and lower body strength-training exercise, core exercises, balance movements and stretches. There are ten weeks of exercise sessions plus an orientation and pre-assessment session. The program concludes with a post-assessment during the last session. Pre-registration is required.
