    Description:

    Chronic Disease Self-Management is a six-week program designed to assist participants in living an active and fulfilling life when faced with chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, chronic pain, etc. This program is co-facilitated by educators from the University of Missouri Extension and St. Louis County Dept. of Public Health. Registration is required and space is limited for this free course, so sign up today! Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions textbook, snacks and light refreshments are included in the course.

    Description:

    This MU Extension strength-training program can get your fitness journey (re)started. Participants will be guided safely by a trained instructor through warm up, eight muscle-strengthening exercises and cool down. Equipment is provided. The class is targeted toward older and sedentary middle-aged adults, although there are no age limits.
