Spring Entrepreneur Camp (Session 4 of 4)
When: Friday, March 28, 2014, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It's Spring Break for many of the Colleges in the Columbia area. Time to get to work on your business, startup, or entrepreneurial idea. This week (Tuesday - Friday) local experts and serial entrepreneurs will be giving concise workshops to help your venture today and long-term.
Some Topics Include: Starting a Business, Project Management, Technology Commercialization, Lean Startup Methods, Digital Marketing, Angel Investing,
Understanding Financials, Crowdfunding, Entrepreneurial Stories, SBA Loan Preparation, and Creating a Business Plan.
Speakers will be given a white board, the internet, and their knowledge to share and co-learn with the group. Attendees will then break out and work on the specific knowledge they just learned as it applies to their idea or business.

All are welcome and you don't have to make the entire week to come.
Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (Session 6 of 10)

A ten week strength training program designed for middle-aged and older adults. Participation in regular strengthening exercises will help you to build muscle and increase bone density, thereby helping to prevent frailty and osteoporosis. Strength training can benefit you in many ways, arthritis relief, improve balance, enhance flexibility, strengthen bones, weight control, lifts depression, stress reduction, reduce risks for heart disease, and maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
60 minutes of strength training exercises

Spring Garden Workshop
When: Friday, March 28, 2014, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Scotland County Fitness Center
This spring gardening workshop will cover several topics. We will sample of fresh vegetables prepared in healthy ways.
The topics for this spring garden workshop include flower garden favorites, cool-season and unique vegetables, spotted wing drosophila and nutrition information update. There will also be sampling of fresh vegetable dishes.
