The University of Missouri Extension Growing Local Food Economies: Good Food, Good Business conference will show how food system initiatives and strengthened rural-urban linkages impact producers, communities, and regional economies. Keynote speaker Dr. Becca Jablonski from Colorado State University will lead the morning discussion highlighting relevant data and trends. During the afternoon, each site (Columbia, Kansas City, Springfield and St. Louis) will have the chance to explore unique, regional food system topics on their own. Please join us for this important discussion. The conference will include lunch and ample opportunity for networking.

A fun, innovative, and highly interactive life skills curriculum to help hard-to-reach adults or teens prepare for success in work and life. A program on building life skills. The curriculum includes sections on attitude, responsibility, communication, decision making and problem solving and preparing for the workplace.
