Description:

Annually, private pesticide applicators are able to obtain or renew their licenses by attending a training provided by University of Missouri Extension specialists. The training is free, however attendees are required to have a Pesticide Core Manual. If you already have a manual, please bring it to the training. If you do not have a Core Manual, they will be available for purchase for $12 at the time of the meeting. Information will also be offered concerning Water Quality Improvement Through the Proper Use of Pesticicdes.

Session topic:

Gentry County Ag-update will include Agronomic, Livestock, Horticultural, and Ag-Economics information. Lunch will be provided. RSVP

Private Pesticide Applicator Training - Pesticides and Water Quality in Braymer

When:  Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Description:

Ag producers needing to obtain or renew their private pesticide applicator license for purchase of restricted-use pesticides can attend the Private Pesticide Applicator Training being offered in Braymer. This license is valid for five years and participants must be 18 or older to receive the license. Training will be given on safe and proper use of agricultural pesticides.

Cost:

$12.00
Each household/family must own a Private Pesticide Applicator's Reference Manual (M87) to receive certification. The cost of the manual is $12. If you or an immediate family member already has a copy of the Reference Manual (2007 edition), please bring it to the training to waive the fee.
