Description:

In October, November, December will hold a session each month. The topics include October - Cultivating an Environment for Growing True Leaders November - "STEM"ming into Animal Science, Growing True Leaders December - Helping 4-H'ers Grow in Life and Work

Session topic:

Helping 4-H’ers Grow in Life & Work In 4-H, all youth can explore their future. Club meetings, events, camps, and after-school programs are places to develop life skills and expand their interests through 4-H. During this session volunteers will share ideas, receive resources, and see a variety of successful programs that help youth focus on life-long learning, workforce readiness, and career exploration. Caring adults can help all young people make decisions and create their own positive future.

Morgan Co. Master Gardener Core Class (Session 10 of 10)

Description:

The mission of the Missouri Master Gardener Extension Program is “helping others learn to grow.” The Master Gardener program provides in depth horticultural training to individuals throughout Missouri who then volunteer their time applying what they have learned to help others in their communities to learn about gardening and environmental education. The Master Gardener Program throughout Missouri promotes and raises public awareness of the University of Missouri Extension as a source of unbiased, research based gardening information.

Session topic:

Resources, Questions and Answers Role Play, Graduation!

Registration:

Fee covers instruction, manual, one soil test, and name tag upon completion of volunteer hours. A scholarship is available for those in need.
