    Hemp Workshop - CBD, Grain, & Fiber: Agronomics, Regulations and More

    Description:

    An old crop becomes new again! This MU Extension Workshop will cover a wide variety of topics related to the emerging hemp industry in Missouri. Topics to be covered: Legislative summary and regulatory update, agronomic practices and pests for CBD, grain and fiber hemp, industry outlook, producer perspectives, crop enterprise budgets and processing and contracts. Presenters will include MU Extension field specialists and economists, CBD-Hemp growers and processors, the Missouri Dept. of Agriculture and the Missouri Hemp Trade Association. The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Cost for the workshop is $55.

    Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with speakers starting at 9:00 a.m. There is plenty of parking near the Extension center, including municipal lots and street parking. Lunch will be on your own and there are plenty of options near the Extension center.

    Focus on Kids, Union, Mo.

    Description:

    Court ordered parenting class to help divorced and separated parents learn how to support their children through the divorce process and how to work together in co-parenting their children.  Focus on Kids satisfies the Missouri law that requires parents who are divorcing or filing a motion to modify the original divorce decree, or who have never been married but have filed a child custody case, to attend an educational parenting program.


    Session topic:

    Focus on Kids is the Court mandated class for parents involved in custody cases where minor age children are involved.
