This is a radio program that allow MU Extension Specialist in the area of Agronomy, Livestock and Ag Business to educate the public on current issue with the goal of providing listeners information to improve their agricultural operations.

Session topic:

Andy McCorkill Dallas County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist provided a radio interview on an agriculture relevant topic in the area of Livestock.

Cattle Genetic and Reproductive Strategies Workshop

When:  Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where:  
Worthington Angus
Dadeville, Mo. MO

Description:

University of Missouri Extension along with Worthington Angus of Dadeville, Mo. are working together to present a cattle genetics and reproductive strategies workshop. The workshop will begin with attendees looking at cattle and genetic information on cattle. Josh Worthington of Worthington Angus will discuss how the genetic information is utilized to make bull selections. Then following dinner Patrick Davis, Cedar County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist and Andy McCorkill Dallas County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist will discuss genetic tools and reproductive technologies that can be used to improve your cattle operation.

The event is free to the public however; preregistration is required by deadline so that we can have a head count for dinner.
