FastTrac® GrowthVenture™ is targeted to existing businesses who want to develop a plan for growing their companies. Hindsight is 20/20, so use that to create a framework and a plan to improve your business performance. In this course, you are an active participant working on your own business strategy. Facilitators are knowledgeable entrepreneur practitioners who are attuned to the issues that influence the decisions you make about your company, making the program meaningful by applying this knowledge to your business. Stay Strong, Stay Healthy - Albany Aug-Oct, 2017 (Session 14 of 16)

Description:

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy is an eight-week strength training program for middle-aged and older adults. The program’s goal is to improve health and quality of life. The class will meet twice a week.

We will incorporate warm-up exercises; simple strengthening exercises, with or without weights; and cool down stretches. Weights are provided for the class. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring water bottle and towel.

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy - Level 2 - Sedalia (Session 13 of 16)

Description:

Missouri's Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase independent living older adults; access to a safe structured, and effective strength training program. Stay Strong, Stay Healthy- Level 2 is a follow-up to Level 1. It is for those who want to challenge themselves a bit more! Over eight weeks, participants learn exercises to improve strength, flexibility and balance. At each session, a prescribed set of eight to 10 upper and lower body strengthening exercises are done along with warm-up and cool-down stretches. In order to enroll in the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy Level 2 program, you must have completed the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy-Level 1 program at least twice. Participants are made to feel comfortable and are encouraged to gradually build the strength beneficial to health. All equipment is provided.

Session topic:

Participants will complete a short warm-up, 8-10 strength training exercises, and a cool-down that includes stretching and deep breathing.

This is a low-impact strength training program for people who are 50 or better. The class meets for 1 hour, twice a week for 8 weeks to complete a series of eight exercises with a warm-up and cool down. Tri-County Health Fair - Rolla

This is a FUN and FREE event and one of the Biggest Health Fairs in the area..so don’t miss out!! Everyone always has a great time! We'll have BINGO again along with prizes, which is a favorite among many. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the day (must be present to win). There will be lots of vendors there with products and services on display. Blood Drive will be held at the Health Fair by the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. Food and refreshments will be available- Free/ donations welcome. We will also be having a drawing for a brand new BBQ GRILL! If you bring us any personal care items (example: shampoo, soap, deodorant, laundry detergent etc.), then you will be entered into the drawing. It's that easy!
