Garden Inspired Writing Retreat (Session 2 of 8)

Description:

Experience nature and be inspired by the beauty of the gardens. This retreat is for anyone who wants to be more creative whether you like journal writing, poetry, fiction, non-fiction or news writing. No prior writing experience is needed. Bring a lawn chair and your own writing tools. Attend one session, or all four. Enjoy the burst of creativity that comes when you combine nature with other inspired writers. more...

Session topic:

For three hours, let MU Extension specialist David Burton, a journalist and published author, guide your journey into the natural world with creative writing exercises in the gardens. These sessions are held rain or shine (under cover if weather is bad)

MU Extension/KOLR10 Television Interview "From the Ground Up" (Session 151 of 207)

Description:

This live television program is intended to educate viewers on a wide range of topics related to gardening in the Ozarks. The KOLR10 meteorologist and others from KOLR10 television, Springfield, conduct the interview, which includes MU Extension horticulture specialists and others with gardening expertise. The program airs on Thursdays on the KOLR10 Midday Newscast, at 11:15am.
