Cole and Miller County Long Term Recovery Committee meeting (Session 6 of 6)

    When:  Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.

The Cole and Miller County Long Term Recovery Committee (CMC-LTRC) has a regular meeting Thursday mornings in Jefferson City at 8 am - 10 am

We were formed as a coalition of faith based and service based organizations, including United Way, Catholic Charities, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, and other groups. Willard Haley represents Miller County as the co-chairman, Rev. Bill Fogelsong is a co-chair of the faith-based subcommittee. Patricia Barrett is a co-secretary with Lynda Zimmerman, MU Extension, of Cole County. the Committee is reaching out to the city and any groups that might be serving unmet needs to communicate and cooperate together. The purpose of the meeting is to gather service providers and volunteer groups (like the City of Eldon and Miller County Emergency Management) to talk about our shared goals and get more folks from Miller County involved.
