Diabetes Self-management program (Session 2 of 6)

This course is designed to help people who have diabetes or individuals who care for someone who has diabetes to become better self-managers of their condition. Franklin County 4-H Interstate Exchange

Description:

Missouri 4-H is about young people discovering their interests with the guidance of caring adults. It’s about young people making friends and memories in clubs or other groups while honing their knowledge, skills, attitudes and health to lead in a complex and changing world.

The interstate exchange is a two year partnerships between Franklin County and a county in another state.  In the two-year exchange each county hosts teens from the other county for one week, and travels to visit the other county.

Teens involved attend an orientation meeting and then commit to the program when enough details are available, usually by January of the 4-H Club year.
