4-H Global Exchange - Jamaica

 Are you ages 13 to 18? Are you curious about the lives of people around the world? Are you ready for a road trip to Jefferson City, Missouri?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we have a fantastic opportunity for you! On April 3rd at 6:00 p.m. at the Cole County Extension Center, teenagers from Boone, Cole and Osage Counties will Skype with teens from Jamaica!!

Come and share your life with these teens and have questions to learn about their lives! We will also brainstorm and discuss a local problem that is important within your local community and share local solutions from Jamaica and the U.S.!

Boone County Senior 4-H Council Scholarships

The Boone County Senior 4-H Council offers three (3) $200 educational scholarships for present Boone County 4-H members, in good standing, in their final year of high school, who are continuing their education in a college, university or vocational school. A completed Application Form permits the applicant to be considered for this scholarship, subject to conditions specified and the final decision of the 4-H Scholarship Committee.

Missouri 4-H Foundation Scholarships

The Missouri 4-H Foundation offers educational scholarships for 4-H youth and former 4-H members pursuing post-secondary study. Sixty scholarships are available, each ranging from $500 to $2,500, and one scholarship application permits the applicant to be considered for any available scholarship. Applications are accepted after Jan. 1 and are due to the Boone County Extension Center by Friday, March 23.

 CHS Foundation Scholarships

High school and two-year college students are invited to apply for a $1,000 scholarship from the CHS Foundation, the major giving entity of CHS Inc., the nation's leading farmer-owned cooperative.

Two year college students: 25 $1,000 scholarships are available for first-year students studying an agricultural-related major at any two-year college.

High school students: 50 $1,000 scholarships are available for seniors pursuing an ag-related major at any two-year or four-year college.

University students: 125 scholarships are available to students working towards an ag-related major at 30 universities across the nation.
