Come to MU Extension’s Home Energy Conservation Workshop to learn where your home’s energy is consumed and ways to audit any energy losses. Spring is the perfect time to weatherize your home before the summer air conditioning season starts. At this workshop, energy saving methods will be introduced and include low, moderate, and significant initial-cost methods. Examples will be given on how to calculate the life-cycle savings created by adding energy-saving methods.

Spring is also the perfect time to add to your home’s landscaping. After this workshop you will know how to use landscaping in your yard to cut down those energy costs with the program “landscaping for energy savings.” The workshop includes handouts as well as a kit to assist you in doing an energy audit of your home. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $15
