Caregiver Background Screening Service
It takes about eight minutes to download the file onto a hard drive. Through this site,
one can download a request for information on caregivers. Six types of checks may be
competed through this form. For five there is no charge: the Child abuse or neglect file,
the Family Foster Care Licensing, Division of Aging Employee Disqualified List, the
Department of Mental Health Disqualified Registry; and Child Day Care Licensing. For state
criminal background check, there is a $5 charge. The person being checked also must sign
and approve the check be conducted.
