4-H Camp
Boone County 4-H camps are held at at Camp Clover Point in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
Traditional 4-H Camp:
June 4-June 7, 2012 (Ages 8-13)
Join campers from Cole and Osage Counties at our annual summer camp! 4-H camp includes celebrating a wide variety of projects while enjoying old camp favorites like swimming, canteens and campfire ceremonies. The cost for Traditional camp is $150, which includes all meals, snacks, programs, crafts, a camp shirt, lodging and bus transportation from Columbia or Ashland. Traditional Camp positions are expected to fill up quickly, so applications should be submitted as soon as possible once they are made available. Applications that are submitted after camp is at capacity will be eligible to attend four day Traditional Camps at Camp Clover Point, with other counties at later dates.

4-H Counselor Camp:
June 1-June 2, 2012 (Ages 14-18)
At this special training camp, teens will learn the skills required to become an effective camp counselor. Topics covered include the flag ceremony, waterfront safety, working with homesick campers, being a positive role model, and leading songs and games. Successful applicants will receive assignments to work at the Traditional 4-H Camp. The cost for Counselor Camp is $40, which includes all meals, snacks, programs, crafts and lodging. All counselor applications are due to the Extension Office by Tuesday, April 3.

4-H Shooting Sports Camp:
June 7-June 9, 2012 (Ages 8-18)
This overnight camp is designed to provide youth with the opportunity to explore the 4-H shooting sports project. Whether you are currently enrolled in a shooting sports project or want to learn more, this camp is for you. The cost for Shooting Sports Camp is $75, which includes all meals, snacks, programs, crafts, lodging, training and equipment.

4-H Family Camp:
June 22-June 23, 2012 (All ages)
This overnight camp allows youth and their families to experience hands on what 4-H camp is like. This unique camp is family-oriented, lots of fun and an educational getaway for the whole family! The cost for Family Camp is $35 per person with a $125 cap per family, which includes all meals, snacks programs, crafts and lodging.

4-H Camps Event Assistance
Boone County 4-H Sr. Council offers a 2/3 scholarship to all first time campers or campers who indicate financial need. A 1/3 scholarship is also offered to all returning campers. The Sr. Council scholarships are available for all camps at Camp Clover Point.
