Country Fresh
Missouri Country Fresh is finally getting off the ground. We have started construction on the processing plant and retail store in Macon, Missouri.
We are signing up growers to raise our poultry and rabbits. I would like to offer those that might be interested an opportunity to grow pasture poultry and rabbits for Missouri Country Fresh, L.L.C. This is a great way to bring extra income to the farm.
Missouri Country Fresh provides the Chicks, Ducklings, and Turkey Pouts with the feed required to raise them to market weight.
Missouri Country Fresh pays the contract grower for each healthy bird delivered to our processing plant. We also supply the transportation cages required. We pay the grower $1.50 per chicken, $1.50 per duck, and $4.00 per turkey raised to our standards.
For rabbit, the grower furnishes his/hers breeding stock (New Zealand Whites or Californian) and feed. We contract with the rabbit grower for a predetermined number of rabbits per week and pay them $3.50 each - delivered.
We are also looking for Missouri made or grown products to carry in our retail store.
