Calling all retirees to Epsilon Sigma Phi membership

Retiring from a formal position or role in MU Extension does not mean that you have to retire from involvement in extension education. One opportunity to continue your connection with colleagues in Missouri and across the nation is life membership in Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP), the national extension honorary.

ESP has been committed to excellence in extension and to research-based education to address the needs of individuals and communities since 1927. Extension education is needed in our communities now more than ever.

If you choose to continue your involvement through this organization, you can expect these benefits:

  • Continued involvement with MU Extension colleagues, current and retired, at the state’s Galaxy conference, annual conference and other events.
  • Continued professional development opportunities, including the national ESP conference and the national Galaxy conference, held every five years.
  • Opportunities to use your knowledge and experience in mentoring colleagues.
  • Involvement in global and international issues and experiences, such as sharing the benefits of international engagement and programming, mentoring others in this area, and assisting with programs when we host international exchanges or create international programming.

The annual fee is just $60. Commit to continued excellence today, and send your membership dues to Membership Chair Vivian Mason at Callaway County MU Extension Center, 5803 County Road 302, Fulton, MO 65265.
