Professional background

B.S. Degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design from University of Missouri (1993). M.S. Degree in Horticulture from University of Missouri (2001).

Began working for University of Missouri Extension in 2008 as a Horticulture Educator in Dunklin County and moved into a Horticulture Specialist position one year later in Butler County.

Currently a member of Missouri Agriculture Extension Professionals (MAEP), the University of Missouri Extension Association (UMEA) and with the National Association of County Agriculture Agents (NACAA).  Serve on the Master Gardener Leadership Team.  Co-Instructor of Master Gardener Online Training.

Yearly program highlights include commercial horticulture education for those living in Strikeforce Counties, planning of education and activities for the Agriculture and Natural Resources Exposition in Poplar Bluff, MO and the coordination and delivery of the watermelon meeting in Kennett, MO.
