Congratulations SALT fellows!
Pictured are the 42 Saline County leaders who have been named as SALT,
(SAline County Leaders for Today) fellows. They are beginning the second
year of the fellowship which is small groups self-organizing to learn together
and to bring people together to solve problems and build on opportunities in
Saline County. Also pictured are Saline County Commissioners Tom Stallings,
Norvelle (Brownie) Brown along with Retired County Commissioner Dick Hassler, and County Clerk Debbie Russell.
Financial success strategies
Missouri Valley College students are enthusiastic about the annual
seminar Extension family financial education specialists present to all new
freshmen! This fall nearly 500 freshmen participated in one of the nine
seminars that offer financial success strategies.
