Farm Safety Day 2012
3:45 to 8:30 p.m. on June 4 brochure in pdf format
Safety on the farm is serious business. This event provides educational hands-on activities for kids to teach them the importance of safety around machinery, animals, pesticides and grain storage. There is no cost for this event. Farm kids and any kids who may visit farms are encouraged to attend. Schedule and registration form will be posted here soon.

Annual council meeting
The Audrain County Extension Council held its annual meeting Feb. 28, 2012. The council recognized Century Farmers Carl J. Weinard, Jr., Eunice and Steve Welschmeyer, and Ron and Sherri Deimeke. The program also served as the retirement reception for Eleanor Kloeppel, Audrain County 4-H specialist, and the swearing in of new council members.
