Responsibilities:
Responsible for getting information out to councils and CPDs about upcoming
council development opportunities and materials. In some cases these individuals
or this team may take the ITV training to councils who cannot participate or
they may mentor councils or council members related to the CLDC (council
leadership development committee) training materials.

Advanced Council Leadership Nominations (reminder)
Purpose of the Advanced
Council Leadership is to provide opportunities for council members who have
completed their term to serve in an expanded capacity to develop and mentor
leadership in the council membership. Primary functions will be to mentor
council members, mentor councils, train council members, and teach leadership
skills to expand the current capacity of extension council members. Selected
participants will be invited to two Leadership Forums annually. The individuals
participating in this opportunity will pay for all or part of the costs of
participation. Participants will need to pay for transportation, lodging, meals,
etc. The CLDC committee hopes to cover the cost of the materials and speakers
for two forums per year.
