Food Power for children
(BLUE SPRINGS, MO – Aug. 31, 2008) University of Missouri Extension will offer the workshop Food Power Young Adventure at 6 pm, Oct. 9, 2008, at the Extension Center, 1501 NW Jefferson St., in Blue Springs.
This workshop is a lively learning experience in food power. Early childhood professionals, school teachers and child-care providers will learn how to teach children nutrition, food safety and ways to become physically active through music and puppetry.
Participants will receive 2 clock hours after completion of the workshop; 0.2 Continued Education Units are available. The registration fee is $15. For more information or to register, please contact University of Missouri Extension at (816) 252-5051.
