Are
you looking for something to do? Got some energy and time to
burn? Do you like to work with youth and make a difference in
their lives? We are currently seeking volunteers for the following
positions:
JOB TITLE: Project leader
TIME NEEDED: Varies. Meetings once a weekend for
two or more weekends. Length of meeting as well as frequency is
determined by project type and difficulty.
SKILLS NEEDED: Expertise or interest in a subject area and
desire to work with youth, exposing them to educational activities
designed to help them learn. Interests can range from computers to
chickens, from seeing eye dogs to teamwork building activities, and from
horses to helping others.

JOB TITLE: Club Leader
TIME NEEDED: Varies. Meetings held approximately
once a month. Length of meeting determined by club's need for the
month.
SKILLS NEEDED:
Takes on the responsibility of managing and organizing a 4-H club in the
community. The person might do things to like recruit youth
members and adult volunteers. Adults are there to help youth develop and
grow and should allow youth to "step up" to organizational
leadership and be able to take initiative in the club's organization and
programming. Youth interest drives the club, and 4-H leaders are
critical to helping the club stay on track.
