How we can help with local school wellness policy development
  • Role of FNEP coordinators and nutrition and health education specialists - To participate in policy development committees, provide advice about writing the policy and serve as a resource for nutrition information.

  • Role of FNEP nutrition program assistants and associates – To promote FNEP so that it is an integral part of the school curriculum. Our program impacts students, teachers, and parents. We are the nutrition education link in the classroom, with food service and the wellness policy committee.
