- Restorative Justice Symposium
November 13, 2009 University of Missouri-Columbia
The Symposium will focus on educating stakeholders in adult courts
about restorative justice and the benefits it can bring to their
practice, providing information about how to utilize restorative
justice principles and practices in each of the disciplines in the
continuum of adult courts, and provide an opportunity for judicial
circuits to plan for implementing restorative justice practices in
their jurisdictions.

This telephone training will provide information about programs,
policies and practices in correctional facilities that support or
challenge the children and families of the incarcerated.

- CYFAR 2010 Conference

4-7. 2010
San Francisco, CA
CYFAR 2010 will feature inspiring keynote speakers, current youth
and family research presenters, exciting interactive workshops,
computer labs, and research posters, as well as the Program Showcase
spotlighting successful CYFAR programs. Plans are underway for the
CYFAR/KaBOOM! playground build in San Francisco, along with in-depth
training opportunities at the CYFAR Pre-conference on Tuesday, May
4. The conference begins on Wednesday, May 5 at 8:30 a.m. and
concludes Friday, May 7 at noon. CYFAR 2010 will be held at the San
Francisco Marriott, in the heart of downtown.
Preliminary information
Call for Proposals
4-H National Headquarters invites children, youth and family
professionals to participate in the conference by submitting
proposals for workshops, computer labs, research posters, and
Program Showcase exhibits. Proposals are due by the submission
deadline: November 10, 2009.
